Specialist knowledge.
Everywhere
it’s needed.
Medilearn brings South Africa’s leading specialists directly to doctors across the country, from academic centres to remote hospitals. Live, interactive, and built for the way doctors actually learn.
Not a webinar.
A live clinical experience.
Most online medical education is passive. Watch a recording, maybe submit a question. At Medilearn, we believe doctors learn best when they are fully in the room — even when that room is digital.
- ✓ Cameras on, always. Every participant is visible and present. We coach you to look and sound your best on screen.
- ✓ Live MCQ polls. Test your knowledge in real time with multiple choice questions from the specialist themselves.
- ✓ Direct Q&A with specialists. Ask the professor your clinical question — the one you’d ask at a grand round.
- ✓ Broadcast quality delivery. Leveraging the full power of Zoom to deliver an immersive, distraction-free experience.
- ✓ The same specialist, twice. In our FCP programme, each lecturer records your VOD content and then hosts your live session.

Born from medicine,
built through technology,
ignited by COVID.
“I watched COVID expose something that had always been true: the gap between specialist knowledge and the doctors who need it most is wide, and it costs lives.”
Dr Hasmukh Gajjar qualified as a medical doctor before spending three decades building expertise in technology. When COVID arrived, it brought those two worlds into sharp focus — and Medilearn was born from the conviction that every doctor in South Africa, regardless of where they practise, deserves access to the best clinical teaching in the country.
In collaboration with the UCT Department of Medicine, Medilearn has developed a model of medical education that combines the rigour of academic teaching with the reach of digital technology — delivered not as passive content, but as genuinely immersive live clinical experiences.
